Jump and the net will appear...

Many of you have probably heard by now of the unfortunate events that have befallen me! Or did I beFall them? Pardon my humor, I'm on pain meds. Anyhow, if you haven't heard, here's the synopsis: Saturday late in the night (think Sunday wee morning), I got the brilliantly bright idea of climbing a quite tall tree...This turned out to be even more purely idiotic than it sounds. About 25 feet above the ground a branch gave way under my foot and I plummeted to the concrete below. "Luckily", no one was around to witness this stupidity! So, I made some calls, was rescued by a hero and taken to the hospital where I underwent surgery for my shattered right heel. I also fractured my right wrist and one vertebrae (slightly). I'm now home and recovering with tremendous assistance from many friends.
I am eternally grateful to all of you who have given so freely and compassionately of your time and assistance. I also realize how it isn't as feasible for some people to give time. With this in mind, my friend and colleague, Phil, has set up a fund for me.
If you can give in this way, please consider donating any amount to this fund.
Just click Donate at the bottom of this post and follow the directions.  This works even if you don't have paypal.

Thank you so much for your generosity and assistance through this difficult time!
